Guaranteed performance
Free monitoring, maintenance, and cleaning
You can save 15% or more off your current electricity
bill and these savings will grow over time.

One of our key innovations
is this: Smart solar companies no longer use expensive and cumbersome batteries - that's old-school solar! NOW - you can use
your electric company as a "virtual battery" and make your electric meter run backwards!
You SHOULD do this right now.
You
CAN do this right now.
You can turn your property into a small
scale electrical generating plant. Here are a few people who have done so in a tasteful and attractive way...

We have removed all the negatives.
We have created a system that works.
Our system goes beyond affordable - it's profitable!
YOU SAVE MONEY!
We are revolutionizing
the way people think
about solar power.
The only questions that remain are...
Do YOU want to use renewable energy?
Do YOU want more reliability?
Do YOU want more
freedom?
Do YOU want to save money?

PLEASE
NOTE:
We
are NOT a utility company. We do NOT sell electricity. We rent solar equipment that sits on your roof, receives energy from
the sun and converts it to usable electricity. Our customers (YOU) actually produce their own electricity with the system
that we rent to them.

Frequently Asked
Questions
What are the benefits of a solar lease?
Purchasing a solar home system with money out of one's pocket simply isn’t a reality for many
homeowners who want the benefits of solar energy. Renting a system IS financially beneficial. If the monthly rental
fee is less than the cost of the electricity that the panels provide, it simply makes sense. You can go solar with no down payment and you’ll save money from day one. With the rented
solar equipment, the reduction in your monthly energy bill will usually be greater than your monthly rental payment. On top
of the financial benefits, we guarantee the performance of the system, provide proactive monitoring and maintenance,
and insure your system against accidental damage. We'll even clean your panels, if needed.
What are the estimated savings by going with a solar equipment lease?
Savings will vary depending on how much energy you use, where you live and who your utility company is. A typical
customer will save about 15% on their electricity spend in their first year, and the savings will increase every year as grid
electricity rates rise. Your FREE quote will tell you what savings you can expect based on your historic energy usage and
custom-designed home solar system.
How long
is the rental commitment?
We ask for a 10 year commitment to solar-powered
living and financial savings. After 10 years, you can choose to renew for an additional 5 years at the same low rate or have
us remove the system from your roof.
What happens
at the end of my 10 year lease? What will my options be?
At the
end of your lease, you have a number of options:
● Renew your lease with your existing system.
●
Sign a new lease and upgrade your system.
● Have your system removed and your roof restored as we originally
found it, free-of-charge.
● Purchase your solar power system at fair market value.
What happens if I move before the 10-year solar lease
is over? What will my options be?
Your options include:
●
Assigning the lease to the new homeowner (subject to credit worthiness requirements).
● Prepaying the remaining
lease payments and assigning the benefits and non-financial obligations (e.g., roof access) to the new owner.
●
Purchasing the system at fair market value (after year six).
● Prepaying the remaining lease payments and
asking us to remove the system for no additional fee (after year six).
How much down payment is required?
ZERO. ZIP. NADA. NOTHING. We enable you to go solar with no down payment. The only thing you pay
is the monthly lease.
Please tell me about your
performance guarantees. How can I be sure that the savings I’m signing up for are actually going to be a reality?
You will receive, in writing, a guarantee that your system will generate the designated amount
of electricity it should. In the unlikely event that your system under-performs, we will either increase your system size
or pay you the difference every year. If your system over-performs, however, we will not charge you a cent more.
Q. So why should I sign up now?
A. The first reason
is so that you can lock in your rent as soon as you sign up. The way utility rates continually increase, this could save you
a significant amount of money. Second, you reserve your position so you can get your system sooner. At times,
there can be a waiting list. Putting your application in NOW reserves your place in line. Your savings can cover
the monthly rent and even put money back in your pocket. And since your rent is locked in for up to 10 years, you can save
significantly over time as electricity prices continue to rise.
Q. Besides saving money, why else should I do this?
A. The only way that change is going to happen is if we create a better vision. For that vision to be sustainable, it needs
to make economic sense for all parties involved. Electricity production is the number one source of non-transportation
pollution in the United States. We are not asking you to sacrifice anything. In fact, you can save a significant amount of
money by upgrading your home to solar.
Net-Metering (California)
You generate
more electricity then you use and get credit (and potentially - cash!) for it from your electrical utility company.
At last, what every wannabe
solar homeowner in California has been waiting for… on Feburary 26, 2010, California regulations changed.
Now, utilities will have to keep paying out the credit
until they’re getting 5% of their electricity from solar (which isn’t going to happen for several years).
Before now, utilities only had to offer customers the excess power generation credit until the point at which the utility’s
was meeting 2.5% of its peak load with solar power generated by its customers (at which point they could turn customers away
from the program). This means lots of new room in the net metering program for tens of thousands of homeowners, schools, municipalities
and businesses that install solar systems in the years ahead.
What does this mean?
It means that now, you can
actually get paid to go solar!!
When your solar panels generate power, that power is pushed into the giant power grid that serves your
area. If, at the end of the year, you have fed more electricity into the grid than you used, then you are entitled to be paid
for the electricity that you provided. You can become a net electricity producer. In effect, now you can get
paid to go solar!
California's net-metering law, which took effect in 1996, requires all
utilities, with one exception (LADWP), to offer net-metering to all customers for solar and wind-energy systems up to 1 megawatt
(1,000Kw).
The original law applies to wind-energy systems, solar-electric systems and hybrid (wind/solar) systems and other
energy producing systems. Investor owned-utilities are additionally required to offer net metering for biogas-electric systems
and fuel cells.
California does not allow any new or additional demand charges, standby charges, customer charges,
minimum monthly charges, interconnection charges, or other charges that would increase an eligible customer-generator's costs
beyond those of other customers in the rate class to which the eligible customer-generator would otherwise be assigned. The
CPUC has explicitly ruled that technologies eligible for net metering (up to 1 MW) are exempt from interconnection application
fees, as well as from initial and supplemental interconnection review fees.
When more energy is produced
than can be used by the residential consumer, a credit for the net excess energy generated is carried forward to a customer's
next month's bill. Under prior law, any credits remaining at the end of each 12-month period were granted to the customer's
utility.
A subsequent law (AB 920 of 2009) gave net-metering customers two additional options for the outstanding credits remaining
after a 12 month period. Customers now have the option of rolling over any remaining credits from month-to-month indefinitely,
or they can receive financial compensation from their utility for the remaining credits.
By January
1, 2011, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) must develop a compensation valuation for the remaining credits
if customers choose the financial compensation option. The rate making authorities of publicly-owned utilities must develop
their own compensation method for the remaining credits through a public proceeding. By January 31, 2011, utilities must notify
all of their net metering customers of these new options. If the customer makes no affirmative election for either option,
the utility will be granted their credits at the end of the 12 month period with no compensation to the customer.
Customer-generators retain ownership of all renewable-energy credits (RECs) associated with the
generation of electricity they use on site.
